Knott’s Berry Farm and The Dive Oyster Bar

My wife and I went to Knott’s Berry Farm this week, and it was fun. We have had a season pass for a while now but have only used it one time before this week. It is a strange thing being able to go to an amusement park whenever we want to, and the drive is not too bad, but just not going for various reasons. As married adults, it really is difficult to find time to do things, and anything that we do needs to be planned ahead of time. At the park, we went on a few rides like the Sidewinder that made my wife dizzy, and because it was a weekday, there were no lines. I was tempted to buy some Peanuts merchandise, as I am a big fan of Peanuts, but I had to resist temptation this time around.

We also went to The Dive Oyster Bar in the Irvine Spectrum for my wife’s birthday. It was a nice outing with family, and it was nice that my immediate family accepted my wife into our family quickly and easily. Considering all the horror stories involving in-laws, even having multiple movies about the in-laws, it was a blessing that we have no issues on either side involving the in-laws. The food was great too with it being just filling enough and not feeling too heavy.

It was a good week capped off with my wife’s birthday. It’s always nice spending time to just have fun, but also good to spend time with family.
