Rob Schneider and WWE Clash in Paris
My wife and I saw a Rob Schneider comedy show at the Brea Improv, and it was really good. We got VIP tickets, so he was right in front of us. Before he performed, we noticed musical instruments and wondered who this is for. It turned out to be for Rob Schneider, who played some covers of Elvis, Paul McCartney, and others. He even acknowledged my wife when he made a joke about being Filipino. Rob Schneider these days has made no secret as to where his political affiliation lies, and there was a good amount of politics in his act. However, I thought that it was funny and not particularly mean-spirited. Besides the politics, he brought up women, marriage, and other topics. At the end, my wife and I got to shake his hand.
WWE also had their Clash in Paris PLE, and I thought that it was a lot of fun. The Rusev vs. Sheamus match was a bar fight, and most of the other matches were good to great. The ending with Becky Lynch helping her real-life husband win the fatal four-way made sense, and I am curious to see how they work together this time with both being heels. The worked together as babyfaces some years back, and it was terrible. However, I think that this time, it can work out. Others like Bronson Reed and even Logan Paul really stepped up to the moment despite losing, with Reed losing to Roman Reigns and Paul losing to John Cena.
It was a fun with some fun surprises. My wife and I were very happy going to the Rob Schneider show and even shaking his hand at the end. WWE Clash in Paris ended with a surprising finish that sets stories up for the future. Sometimes, things just end up well going above expectation.
